Highlights:

During this tour, you will not only visit the highlights of Lhasa, including  the World Heritage Sites of the Potala, Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor market, two Gelugpa monasteries of Drepung  and Sera , but also you will visit the holy caves Drak Yerpa, which is one of the holiest caves in Lhasa area. A local Tibetan home visiting will be arranged after the the trip of Drak Yerpa.

Day 1 Chengdu / Beijing / Xi'an to Lhasa
Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude in the afternoon, overnight at Lhasa.

Day 2 Lhasa sightseeing (B)
Today you will visit the World Heritage Sites of  Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple and explore the bustling bazaar along the Barkhor Street,  overnight at Lhasa.

Day 3 Lhasa sightseeing (B)
The escorted tours today will cover some other highlights of Lhasa - the Drepung Monastery, the Sera Monastery, both of them are Gelupa Monasteries. And also you will visit the famous Dalai lama summer palace - Norbulingka. , overnight at Lhasa.

Day 4  Lhasa / Drak Yerpa / Lhasa, 60KM, 2hours (B)
Morning drive from Lhasa to Drak Yerpa caves, which is one of the holiest caves in Lhasa area. Nowadays you can still find some ones meditating there. At Drak Yerpa you can do some trekking around. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa, you will be arranged the visit one local Tibetan family. Overnight at Lhasa

Day 5 Lhasa airport /train station dropping off (B)
Morning Lhasa airport or train station dropping off, end the trip.
