Ganglamedo," a film featuring the Tibetan theme of cherishing one's beautiful dream and pursuing one's true love in a music world, will premiere at the 14th Aichi International Female Film Festival in Nagoya, Japan, in September.

As the only international film festival in Mid-Japan, the Aichi focuses on female films aiming to boost the social status of women. By showing their works, it is also an important gathering and exchange of international female film writers, directors, players and producers.
"Ganglamedo" (snow lotus herb in Tibetan) was shot on the snowy plateau of Tibet. It artistically brings out popular Tibetan love stories by elements of traditional Tibetan music, showing a perfect integration of modern life and ethnic folklores.

It has already won prizes at the 11th Shanghai International Film Festival and the 15th Korean Best Stage Performance Award. |
