After years of effort, the bar-headed goose artificial breeding program has gained success in Tibet by the departments concerned. By far, Konggar County of Lhoka Prefecture has more than 300 artificial breeding bar-headed geese. Besides, good economic profits have also been achieved in Konggar County, Maizhokunggar County, Xainza County and other counties in Tibet, which have large-scale bar-headed goose reproduction bases.
