Traditional Tibetan folk art is getting more and more flourishing along with the developing tourism industry.

"Tourism brings more and more tourists and it broadens the Tibetan culture receiver mount. The increased tourists make Tibetan folk art more popular," said Yao Weiping, director of Culture Industry Office of TAR Culture Department.

Statistics show that over 3.2 million tourists visited Tibet from January to September with an increase of 67 per cent. Thus, more locals participate in culture industry for offering service.
