People wait to visit Tibet Museum in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Aug. 4, 2009

"For the protection of the cultural relics in the museum and the safety of the visitors, the number of visitors will be limited at 4,000 per day," said a staff worker of the museum.
During the eight-day holiday, the museum will be open from 10:00 to 17:30 from Monday to Sunday. But visitors will not be admitted after five o'clock in the afternoon.
A visitor group with more than 100 members and smaller-sized visitor groups that need museum guides will have to notify the museum in advance. |
