| | There are still some restrictions for foreign tourists to travel in Tibet since this March, we are not allowed to sell the permit only to tourists. For foreign small groups, we suggest them to book an organized tour in advance. But anyway for these clients who only want to travel inside of Lhasa city, we have our winter special - Lhasa individual travel package & Beyond organized group, the service items are as below :
1). Flight ticket / train ticket into Lhasa + the Tibet entry permit (With Lhasa airport / train station picking up to the hotel in Lhasa);
2). Hotel booking in Lhasa(We do offer different standard of hotels, 5star / 4 star / 3 star / 2 star or guest house);
3). Organized tours beyond of Lhasa city in advance.
The clients can visit the scenic spots in Lhasa city on their own, the places including Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor market, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka summer Palace. ect.
Travel beyond Lhasa city:
If the clients want to travel outside of Lhasa city, such as Ganden Monastery, Namtso lake, Tsedang area(including Samye monastery, Yongbulakang palace, Tibetan King Tombs, Yamdrok Lake, Samding monastery.ect.), Shigatse Area(including Gyantse, Shigatse, Sakya, Mt.Everest Base Camp, or overland trip to Nepal, ect), Nagari area(Mt.Kailash overland trip. ect.), Nyingchi area, Chamdo area, Nagqu area, they need to take an organized tour group, which means they will at least have one private van / landcruiser with driver & guide. This organized tour need to be reserved in advance before they start their trip to Tibet. BOOKING ONDITIONS & REQUIREMENTS: |
To take our Lhasa individual travel package & Beyond organized group, you need notice & agree the following conditions & requirements:
1. Follow the local travel rules & Chinese law when you travel in Tibet;
2. You need to book the accommodation in Lhasa with us in advance;
3. Please specify the places you want to visit in Tibet before you take this package (If you don’t know where you want to visit, please check / discuss with our travel consultants by email, we will try our best to work out one itinerary to meet your satisfaction), and we will put all the places on the permit;
4. You need to book / reserve the tours beyond of Lhasa city in Tibet with us in advance, the most basic tour should be with one minivan / jeep(with private driver) & guide, and we will arrange the PSB permit and other necessary permits as well;
5. You need to fix the dates of arrival & departure from Lhasa for your trip.
6. Please book this individual travel package at least 10 day in advance if you choose by air, and 15 days if you choose by train.

1. Documents: please send us the scanned images of your passport and china by email (windhorsetour@hotmail.com), or you can fax them to +86-28-86254710. The china visa should be valid more than 10 days.
2. Payment & Payment methods: To book Tibet individual travel package, the full payment is required when you start to book it. Payment can be paid by Bank wires, Western Union and Paypal on-line. Please check THIS WEBSITE to get our bank account information.
3. How to get your flight ticket, Permit & start your trip?
a). If you take train into Lhasa, you need go to our Chengdu office or contacted travel offices (other cities) to get your train ticket. We will send the permit copy to you by email, you need to print it out and check in at train station with your train ticket, original passport.
b). If you take flight into Lhasa, we will send the flight information(E-ticket) to you by email. To take the flight into Lhasa, original permit will be checked at airport. So we will post the permit to your place or you can go to our office or contacted office to pick up the original permit.
c). when you reach Lhasa, our Lhasa staff will pick you up by your names at airport or train station. You will be transferred to your hotel. If you have booked the tours beyond of Lhasa city in Tibet, our staff will inform you the departure time, guide information when he / she meets you.
