Day 1 Chengdu / Beijing / Xi'an to Lhasa
Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest in the afternoon. Overnight at Lhasa New Mandala Hotel.
Day 2 Lhasa sightseeing (B+L)
Today you will visit the World Heritage Sites of Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkor Market. Overnight at Lhasa New Mandala Hotel.
Day 3 Lhasa sightseeing (B+L)
The escorted tours today will cover some other highlights of Lhasa - the Drepung Monastery, the Sera Monastery, both of them are Gelupa Monasteries. And also you will visit the famous Dalai lama summer palace - Norbulingka. Overnight at Lhasa New Mandala Hotel.
Day 4 Lhasa/ Draksum Tso / Bayi (480kM) (B+L+D)
After breakfast, drive from Lhasa to Bayi, cross over Mila Pass, enjoy the scenery along the Niyang River. Afternoon visit Draksum Tso, also known as Basum-Tso. The lake and its surrounding views are beautiful and the site is also connected to the semi-mythical ruler of the Kham region and Guru Rinpoche. Take a ferry ride off the southern shore of the lake to visit the Tsodzong Monatery, most probably the highest attraction of this site. Overnight in Bayi.
Day 5 Bayi / Lamaling Monastery/ Cypresses Park (B+L+D)
Drive to visit an ancient Gelug Monastery-Buchu, that lies only 18 miles south of Bayi. If the heavy rain has not damaged the road, visit the Lamaling Monastery nearby. Afternoon visit the nature reserve with 2500-year old cypresses in Bayi. Overnight at Bayi town Shangbala Hotel. Day 6 Bayi / Lunang Forest / Pomi (220Km) (B+L+D)
Drive from Baiyi to Pomi, On the way you will pass the Serkhym-la over 4500m, have a good views of Namche Barwa and Gyala Pelri. After the Serkhym-la the road descends past gorgeous alpine vallerys lined with rhododendron bushes into the Rong-chu valley, that is the Lunang forest. Overnight at Pomi Zizuan Hotel. Day 7 Pomi / Rawok-tso / Pomi (254Km) (B+L+D)
Today drive from Pomi to Rawu, you will enter the most beautiful part of this tour, the landscape along the road varies from snow mountains, glacier to lakes and pasture. Visit Ranwu lake near Ranwu, which is surrounded by glaciers and snow mountains. Thawed snow makes the body, the water appears different colors in different seasons. Late afternoon drive back to Pomi. Overnight at Pomi Zizuan Hotel. Day 8 Pomi / Bayi ( 350km)
Drive back from Pomi to Bayi, overnight at Bayi town Shangbala Hotel. Day 9 Bayi / Lhasa ( 400km)
Drive back to Lhasa along Niyang river, overnight at Lhasa New Mandala Hotel. Day 10 Lhasa airport dropping off, end the trip. 1. Transport: Landcruiser available;
