Tour Route: Beijing - Xian - Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin - Chongqing - Dazu Carvings -  Yangtze River Cruise - Wuhan - Shanghai

Day by Day Itinerary

B-- Breakfast        L-- Lunch        D-- Dinner

Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive at the Beijing Capital Airport, be met and transferred to hotel by your guide and driver, have a good rest by your own.

Day 02: Beijing (B+L+D)
Today you will do the sightseeing tour to visit the Tian'anmen Square , Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven. In the evening a lively Peking Opera performance at Liyuan Theater will be arranged after dinner at  Beijing Roast Duck Restaurant. Then drive back to your hotel, free on your own.

Day 03: Beijing (B+L+D)
Breakfast in the hotel, then pick you up at your hotel by your guide and driver at 8:00am in the morning, arrange the full day tour to visit the Great Wall at Badaling (you can choose to take cable car, 60RMB per person on your own) and Ming Tombs. After dinner drive you back to hotel, free on your own.
 
Day 04: Beijing Xian (B+L)
You will take an afternoon flight to Xian after visiting the Summer Palace and having 1.5 hours citizen life excursion at Hutong by rickshaw. Upon arrival at Xi'an airport, to be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 05: Xian (B+L+D)
Breakfast in your hotel, and arrange the full day to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi'an City Wall. In the evening after the local specialty - Dumpling Banquet as dinner, you will be entertained with the splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show at Shanxi Theater.
 
Day 06: Xian  Guilin (B+L)
Morning you will visit the Provincial History Museum, which houses a large collection of historic and cultural artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi Province, then go to visit the Great Mosque and have some free time to explore for some souvenirs or antiques in the Bazaar near the Mosque. Take late afternoon/evening flight to Guilin. Upon arrival at Guilin, airport picking up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 07: Guilin - Li river Cruise - Yangshuo(B+L)
Breakfast in the hotel, then drive 1 hour to Zhujiang Pier and cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo which takes 3-4 hours. Enjoy the most beautiful landscape along the cruise route, have lunch on board. Disembark the ship when arrival at Yangshuo. Transfer to your hotel in Yangshuo. Afternoon a short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged, which we feel sure will be one of the most memorable parts of your tour. You will also visit a local villager's home.

Day 08: Yangshuo - Guilin(B)
Today  you will have almost one day free to be totally relaxed. You can hire a bicycle enjoying the breathtaking scenery around the town or wander along the West Street or having a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe. Late afternoon drive back to Guilin, in the evening enjoy the Ethnic performance dancing & singing in Liliang Theater.

Day 09: Guilin  Chongqing(B+L)
Breakfast in the hotel, then arrange half day to visit the Seven Star Park, the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill.  After lunch, transfer to Guilin airport for your flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival at Chongqing airport, to be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 10: Chongqing - Dazu - Pre-board the cruise (B+L+D)
Breakfast in the hotel, then drive you to Duzu and have a whole day tour to Baoding Carvings, the noted Grotto Art in Dazu County.  Transfer back to Chonqqing for dinner, then send you to get on the luxury cruise at Chongqing Pier.

Day 11: Chongqing - Fengdu (B+L+D)
The cruise ship set sail from Chongqing early in the morning. 14:30-17:00 Shore excursion to the ghost city at Fengdu. Back to the ship and continue the cruise. The Captain's Welcome Party will be held at 20:30. 
 
Day 12: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping (B+L+D)
Morning pass Qutang Gorge & Wu Gorge, around 10:00am disembark at Badong and take a sampan tour to the picturesque Shennong Stream. The Shennong Stream is a tributary carrying clear, cooler water into the Yangtze. The 'stream' runs through steep gorges, in which the ancient asian Bahu people used to live, thousands of years ago. Back to the ship and continue the cruise into the western section of the Xiling Gorge and pass through the five-step ship lock.

Day 13: Sandouping (B+L+D)
08:00-10:15, shore excursion to visit the Three Gorges Dam, it is planned to be by far the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Back to the ship and continue the cruise. Pass the eastern section of Xiling Gorge. Exit the gorges at Yichang, pass the ship lock of Gezhouba Dam. Have a music and dancing party in the evening.

Day 14: Sandouping - Wuhan  Shanghai (B+L+D)
Disembark at  Wuhan at 12:00. Our Wuhan local guide will get on board to meet you. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum and the Yellow Crane Tower. Transfer to the airport for flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival at Shanghai, airport picking up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 15: Shanghai (B+L+D)
Breakfast in the hotel, then pick you up at your hotel by your guide and driver at 8:00am in the morning, arrange the full day tour to the Shanghai Museum, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Yu Yuan Garden and Bund Area. In the evening enjoy the Portman Acrobatic Show at Shanghai Centre Theatre.

Day 16:  Departure from Shanghai (B)
Free on your own, then Shanghai airport see-off service and end the trip.

Note: Shanghai has two airports: Hongqiao Airport (15 km west of the center of Shanghai) and Pudong Airport (30km southeast of Shanghai). Please make sure you go to the right one for departure.

Important notes:
1. The rate is USD1.00 equates to CN Yuan 7.0.
2. Above quota listed is not  valid during the public holidays: 1-6th May, 1-6th Oct,   the periods of Olympic games in Beijing (Jul.15-end of Aug.)& F1 Grand Prix staying in Shanghai.
3. Peak season:  Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug. Sep. Oct.
4. Shoulder season: Jan. Feb. Mar. Nov. Dec.

Tour Inclusions:

1. The economy-class airfare of China flights as specified in the itinerary;
2. Hotels lists in the itienrary or the same level with daily western/Chinese breakfasts;
 *    The hotel accommodation is based on two persons sharing one standard twin room with private facilities in all relevant locations. If a single client requests a twin room alone, the single room supplement will be charged.
3. Daily lunches and/or dinners remarked in the itinerary;
4. Excellent guide & driver(One private English-speaking guide and driver will accompany you on all normal sightseeing tours in each city);
5. All personal entrance tickets;

1.The air charge of arrival in the first city of the tour and departure from the last city of the tour;
