Tour Route: Beijing - Xian - Chongqing - Dazu - Yangtze River Cruise - Yichang - Shanghai

Day by Day Itinerary

B-- Breakfast        L-- Lunch        D-- Dinner

Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive at the Beijing Capital Airport, be met and transferred to hotel by your guide and driver, have a good rest by your own.

Day 02: Beijing (B+L+D)
Today you will do the sightseeing tour to visit the Tian'anmen Square , Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven. In the evening a lively Peking Opera performance at Liyuan Theater will be arranged afer dinner at Beijing Roast Duck Restaurant. Then drive back to your hotel, free on your own.

Day 03: Beijing (B+L+D)
Breakfast in the hotel, then pick you up at your hotel by your guide and driver at 8:00am in the morning, arrange the full day tour to visit the Great Wall at Badaling (you can choose to take cable car, 60RMB per person on your own) and Ming Tombs. After dinner drive you back to hotel, free on your own.
 
Day 04: Beijing Xian (B+L)
You will take an afternoon flight to Xian after visiting the Summer Palace and having 1.5 hours citizen life excursion at Hutong by rickshaw. Upon arrival at Xi'an airport, to be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 05: Xian (B+L+D)
Breakfast in your hotel, and arrange the full day to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi'an City Wall. In the evening after the local specialty - Dumpling Banquet as dinner, you will be entertained with the splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show at Shanxi Theater.
 
Day 06: Xian Chongqing  (B+L)
Morning you will visit the Provincial History Museum, which houses a large collection of historic and cultural artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi Province, then go to visit the Great Mosque and have some free time to explore for some souvenirs or antiques in the Bazaar near the Mosque. Take late afternoon flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival at Chongqing, airport picking up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 07: Chongqing - Dazu - Pre-board the cruise (B+L+D) 
Breakfast in the hotel, then drive you to Duzu and have a whole day tour to Baoding Carvings, the noted Grotto Art in Dazu County.  Transfer back to Chonqqing for dinner, then send you to get on the luxury cruise at Chongqing Pier. At 22:00 your memorable Yangtze River begins.

Day 08: Chongqing - Fengdu  (B+L+D)
This morning  the ship will stop at Fengdu, where you will visit the Ghost City, which is famous for its temple dedicated to the King of the Underworld, an association dating back to the Han Dynasty. Afternoon the cruise will sail through Qutang Gorge .
 
Day 09: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping (B+L+D)
Morning sail through Wu Gorge, stop at Badong, you will take a small junk for a close-up view of the breath-taking natural splendors along the Shennong Stream. You are sure to be impressed by the dexterity the team of trackers as they push and haul the wooden sampans over the rapids. Back to the cruise to continue your cruise into the western section of the Xiling Gorge and pass through the five-step ship lock.

Day 10: Sandouping - Yichang Shanghai (B+L)
Visit the site of Three Gorges Dam Project in the morning, then sail the eastern part of Xiling Gorge, disembark at Yichang around 13:00. Yichang pier picking up and drive you to have lunch.Take an afternoon flight to Shanghai, upon arrival at Shanghai, airport picking up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 11: Shanghai (B+L+D)
Breakfast in the hotel, then pick you up at your hotel by your guide and driver at 8:00am in the morning, arrange the full day tour to the Shanghai Museum, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Yu Yuan Garden and Bund Area. In the evening enjoy the Portman Acrobatic Show at Shanghai Centre Theatre.

Day 12: Departure from Shanghai (B)
Free on your own, then Shanghai airport see-off service and end the trip.

Note: Shanghai has two airports: Hongqiao Airport (15 km west of the center of Shanghai) and Pudong Airport (30km southeast of Shanghai). Please make sure you go to the right one for departure.

Important notes:
1. The rate is USD1.00 equates to CN Yuan 7.0.
2. Above quota listed is not  valid during the public holidays: 1-6th May, 1-6th Oct,   the periods of Olympic games in Beijing (Jul.15-end of Aug.)& F1 Grand Prix staying in Shanghai.
3. Peak season:  Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug. Sep. Oct.
4. Shoulder season: Jan. Feb. Mar. Nov. Dec.

Tour Inclusions:

1. The economy-class airfare of China flights as specified in the itinerary;
2. Hotels lists in the itienrary or the same level with daily western/Chinese breakfasts;
 *    The hotel accommodation is based on two persons sharing one standard twin room with private facilities in all relevant locations. If a single client requests a twin room alone, the single room supplement will be charged.
3. Daily lunches and/or dinners remarked in the itinerary;
4. Excellent guide & driver(One private English-speaking guide and driver will accompany you on all normal sightseeing tours in each city);
5. All personal entrance tickets;
6. Comfortable and clean air-conditioned car or van;
7. 2 bottles of mineral water each day;
8. Government taxes.

Tour exclusions:

1.The air charge of arrival in the first city of the tour and departure from the last city of the tour;
2. Your own expense;
3. Optional Programs which are not specified in the above itinerary.
