Our Eastern Tibet tours are about Kham and Amdo. Eastern Tibet, we still call it Kham, is a land apart from the rest of Tibet. It's climate, geography, flora and fauna all lend it a unique, almost magical atmosphere. The stone vilages resemble those in Bhutan and the unusually shaped stupas would seem at home in Mustang. The scenery often resembles the Swiss Alps more than the high Tibetan Plateau. Our eastern Tibet tours are starting from Draksum-tso via Rawok-tso, Pomda Pasture, arrival at Chamdo, do pilgrimage circumambulation at Galden Jampaling Monastery, visit the amazing Riwoche Tsuglhakhang, pass by the grasslands of northern Tibet from Sok to Nagchu, have a glimpse at Namtso Lake at Largen-La.
