Day 1 Kathmandu Arrival (1300m)
Kathmandu airport picking up, have a good rest, overnight at Kathmandu ( 3 star standard hotel). Day 2 Kathmandu sightseeing one day (B+L+D)
Morning drive to the great Buddhist Temple of Swayambhunath, People still call it 'Monkey temple'. It is located on the top of a hill west of Kathmandu, Where you can have a good views over Kathmandu valley. Visit Newari architecture of Patan's Durbar Square, with its superb art museum. Afternoon visit one of the world's largest stupas' Boudha, and Hindus Temple - Pashupatinath. Overnight at Kathmandu ( 3 star standard hotel)
Day 3 Kathmandu / Zhangmu / Nyalam (B)
Morning Drive to Kodari ( around 5hours), our guide will help you clear the customs and transfer you to the Friendship Bridge at the border. You need cross the Bridge by yourself, . Our Tibetan guide and Landcruiser driver will meet you there. They will give you a brief information regarding the further trip then proceed the journey to Zangmu, where all the immigration and custom formalities are ought to be accomplished. After the accomplishment of all formalities, Start drive to Nyalam (1hour). Overnight at Nyalam ( Guest house, dorm bed).
Day 4 Nyalam 3750m, (B)
Rest at Nyalam one more day to acclimatize the high altitude. Overnight at Nyalam ( Guest House, dorm bed).
Day 5 Nyalam / Saga, 4450m, 232km, 7-8 hours (B)
On the first long driving day over the sandy and rocky land of Tibet, other things like lake, nomads chasing thousands of yaks and sheep keep you busy. By the late afternoon you will cross Bhramha Purtra River way to typical Chinese and Tibetan town Saga. Overnight at Saga ( twin-room with private bathroom).
Day 6 Saga / Paryang, 250km, 5-6hours, 4600m high
Drive from Saga to Paryang through the windswept territory passing many villages and camps of Yak herders with the distance view of snow capped mountains. Overnight at Paryang ( Guest House, drom bed).
Day 7 Paryang / Lake Manasarovar, 270km, 4-5hours, 4558m high
Drive from Paryang to Lake Manasarovar through open territory with a view of distant mountains, Yak herders camp, if lucky might come across a herd of Kang (Wild Ass), you will have the first sight of Holy Kailash and Manasarovara. Overnight at Chiu Monastery ( Guest house, dorm bed).
Day 8 Lake Manasarovar / Darchen, 60km, 1.5hours, 4560m high
Manasarovara is the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss. After completing the memorable morning Bath and Puja we will be heading towards Tarchen, prepare for trekking. Overnight at Darchen (Guest house, dorm bed).
Day 9 Trek from Darchen to Dira-puk Monastery, 20km, takes about 5 - 6hours (Camping)
The first day's parikarama is a gradual walk with multitudes of other local pilgrims chanting and praying. The trail leads to few ups and downs till we reach our camp at Dirapuk (4,750 m.). Camping on the nice grassy meadows with a view of Kailash, north west face at Dirapuk for overnight halt.
Day 10 Trek from Dira-puk Monastery to Zutul-puk Monastery by crossing Drolma-la Pass, 15KM, takes about 6 - 7hours (Camping)
Today our parikarama leads to much higher side of the holy path just beneath the Mount Kailash. The walk will bring us to one of the highest point at Drolma La, 5,200 m. before descending to the gradual field towards Zuthulphuk for the overnight camp. Zuthulphuk has a small monastery.
Day 11 Trek back to Darchen, 14Km, 4- 5hours
The winding gradual tracks finally ends our holy pilgrimage 5hours, Overnight at Darchen(Guest house, dorm bed).
Day 12 Drive from Darchen to Saga via Paryang (520KM, 9hours, 4600M high). overnight at Saga ( Gusethouse, dorm bed).
Day 13 Drive from Saga to Zhangmu via Nyalam (262KM, 7-8hours). Overnight at Zhangmu (Twin-room witht bath)
Day 14 Drive from Zhangmu to Kathmandu (120km, 5hours). Overnight at Kathmandu ( 3 star standard hotel).
Day 15 Kathmandu airport dropping off, end the trip.
