It's the birthplace of the first Tibetans who were said to be the offspring of a monkey and a demoness, so Tsedang literally means "monkey's playground".The mild weather and fertile land in Shannan gestated the great Tibet dynasty. Nowadays we can still visit Tibet's first monastery - Samye Monastery, Tibet's first building - Yumbulakang Palace in Tsedang. B=breakfast
Day 1 Chengdu / Beijing / Xi'an / Kathmandu to Lhasa - Tsedang
Lhasa airport picking up, transfer to your hotel in Tsedang, Check into your hotel. The left hours in the afternoon will be for you to acclimatize the high attitude. Overnight at Tsedang.  Day 2 Tsetang / Lhasa (B)
Morning visit to the Yumbulakang Palace- the first palace in Tibet. Then drive to the bank of Yarlung Tsangpo River by car. Then take the ferry with local Tibetans to visit the Samye Monastery which is believed to be the first Monastery in Tibet with a history of over 1,200 years. Late afternoon drive to Lhasa and check into your hotel. Overnight at Lhasa.
Note: In winter season, you may not take the local ferry due to River lack of water. You will be driven to Samye instead.
Day 3 Lhasa sightseeing (B)
Today you will visit the World Heritage Sites of Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple and explore the bustling bazaar along the Barkhor Street. Overnight at Lhasa. Day 4 Lhasa sightseeing (B)
The escorted tours today will cover some other highlights of Lhasa - the Drepung Monastery, the Sera Monastery, both of them are Gelupa Monasteries. And also you will visit the famous Dalai lama summer palace - Norbulingka. Overnight at Lhasa. Day 5 Lhasa airport /train station dropping off
