Travelling Routes Recommended One day travel - Take a bus from Baoguo Bus station to Leidong Ping (40RMB/person). Buy the entrance ticket (120RMB/person, and with student ID card, 60RMB/person) - After 1.5 hours' walk, you can get to Jinying Palace, then it takes you 1.5 hours to get to the Golden Summit on foot or 10 min by cable car. - You can go around the Golden Summit for about 1 or 1.5 hours. - Go back to Jinying Palace in the same way. 1 hour later, you will arrive at Leidong ping where you can take a bus to Wannian bus Park. - It takes you 20 min to get to Wannian Temple on foot or 10 min by cable car (40 RMB/person) - It’s about 1.5 hours for you to go down through Bailong Cave, and Qingyin Pavilion to Wuxian gang Park where the last bus to Baoguo Temple Bus Station is at 6:30 pm. (If you have enough time, you can go up to Joking Monkey Zone from Wannian Temple) Two day travel A (This is the most difficult way to experience Mount Emei.) - Take a bus from Baoguo Bus station to Wannian bus station (20RMB/person); - Buy the entrance ticket (120RMB/person, and with student card, 60RMB/person); - It takes you 40 minutes to reach Wannian temple on foot or 10 minutes by cable car(40RMB/person);  - After 4 or 5 hours' walk, you'll reach the Elephant pool; - It takes about 1.5h-2h to get to the Jiejing Palace; - Go on walking till you reach golden summit (the easiest way is to take the cable car at Jieying Palace) - Stay at the top for the night. At 6 o'clock next morning you will catch the sunrise - Take the ecological tourist car to Wanfu peak (60RMB/person). If the weather is good enough, you can see the MT. Gongga - Go down from the Wanfo peak to Jieying Palace on foot (the price for the cable way down is 30RMB/person). Then you have 2 choices. One is returning in the same way, the other is covering Yuxian temple, Xianfeng temple, Hongchunpin, Joking monkey zone, Yixiantian, Qingying Pavilion, ending at Wuxian gang park. (last bus is 6:00) Two day Travel B (This is the easiest way to experience Mount Emei and the entrance ticket will cover you for the 2 days.) - Take a bus from Baoguo Bus station to Wannian Park(40RMB/person); - Buy the entrance ticket (120RMB/person, and with student card, 60RMB/person); - After approximately 40 minutes' walk you will arrive at Wannian Temple; - Go through Bailong cave, Qingying Pavilion, Joking Monkey Zone where you can see many naughty monkeys and you'll reach Hong Chunping - Then walk back to Wuxiangang Park where the last bus to Baoguo Temple bus station is at 6:00 pm . You can choose to stay at Teddy Bear hotel for overnight. - Next day, you can take the early bus to Leidong Ping Park, from there walk for 2 hours to Golden Summit or take a cable car - You can walk around the Golden Summit, Qianfo Peak, Wanfo peak - Walk down to Jieyin Palace, then to Ledongping where the last bus to Baoguo Temple bus station is at 5:00 pm. Three Day Travel - First morning walk to visit Baoguo temple and Fuhu temple, then Buy the entrance ticket(120RMB/person, and with student ID card, 60RMB/person). Walk through Leiyin temple, Chunyang palace, Shenshui temple, Qingying pavilion to Hongchun ping, if you are quick enough, you can stay at Xianfeng temple at night. - Second day go on walking through Jiuling hillock, and the elephant pool to the Golden Summit. Staying at the top, you can enjoy the sunrise next morning. - Third way you can choose walk down to Wannian Temple for 7 hours, after visiting Wannian Temple, take a cable car of walk down to Wannian Bus park before 5:30pm to catch the last bus to Baoguo bus station. Climate at Mt.Emei The best time to visit is from May to October. Winter is not impossible, but still present some trekking problems-iron soles with spikes can be hired to deal with encrusted ice and snow on the trails. Snowfall generally starts around November on the upper slopes. Where you can get hiking information at Mt.Emei?
